This boat has be refurbished not a show restoration to be used or restored, top sides are 95% original, decking 60% new bottom. Elasto membrane between ply and planks, all new silicone bronze screws and Boat Life Calk, all top sides removed, frames screw holes filled and moved down to eliminate age gaps, the framing had no rot replaced bolts and screws as needed also added extra framing as I saw fit. Because this is a traditional bottom I am sure it will seep water no matter how tight my work was ,also shaft log has new packing as dose the rudder shaft both may need to be tightened a bit the boat has not been in water since done. Have done a lot of cars but this was my first boat. The motor was said to have 80 hours on it but have no paper work to prove that, has good compression and oil pressure, the motor is from a 1952 19 foot KLC not the KL it came with. The propeller shaft and strut were checked and bushed at Sierra Boat Co. The boat shows nice but has age marks it was used not just looked at, one could resand the boat again but I wanted to look like history telling me boating stories. The only mod is the new choke cable is under the driver so as to get to it standing outside the boat the original is in place but needs to be replaced. Has nice trailer with new tires wheels need paint and brakes redone. Seats are original in good shape, horn is on a switch not in the wheel, added a bilge blower. Sold as is for fun or restore it for show. Re kit Carb, rebuilt fuel pump, rebuilt water pump, new hoses, new oil, new bilge blower, new tack cable and housing, new gen belt new plugs, new wind screen, new Batt, rebuilt starter with new solenoid, all gauges work ,lights work, new screws used a lot of CPE used Boat life Calk for sealer.
