We only sell boats that have clean titles/transferable registrations & upon payment in full we will USPS priority mail you the title/transferable registration to your vessel along with bill of sale quickly within a day or two. We do come across boat trailers that may not have paperwork, in that case you will have to register the trailer as "homemade".

We try to be as straightforward as we can within the information we collect from the donor & include all such info in our listings.We try to focus on boats that we feel may have redeeming factors or worth & we often refuse many boats that we do not deem worthy of listing. You are bidding on a 1985 Chris Craft Catalina 291 Flybridge 29ft Cabin Cruiser Boat with Twin Inboard Mercruiser V8 Engines.. Boat was used last in 2019, & it is NOT currently in running condition, boat will need motor work of some kind.. The vessel itself is large beautiful, large cabin, all could use a good cleaning as the owner is a bit too elderly for all the upkeep.. Cabin is huge, definitely live-aboard size!.. There is a V-berth for sleeping, CRT TV, galley with padded bench seating, stove, microwave, refrigerator, full head with shower wash-down, sink, flybridge with VHF radio, full gauges for flybridge & also pilot station on lower deck.. Boat is in good need of an inside/cleaning, hull looks to be in great shape, there are trim tabs, teak swim platform, teak rails, stainless steel railings, power windlass, stereo system, wide gunwales for walking to bow, etc.. The motors are twin 230 Mercruiser V8's with Thunderbolt Ignition System & Fresh Water Cooled, they are inboards.. The donor used the vessel up until 2019 when he forgot to attach shore power so rainwater filled the motorbox & the motors were immersed in water so they will need some type of mechanical work..

This vessel is located in the water at a private boat slip in the backyard of the donor's house.. There are several full service marinas within a mile of the location as well as a public boat ramp. Boat has an 11.6 foot beam which is important for transport.. You can tow this boat away by water as it is right at the entrance to the Great South Bay & not far from the Fire Island Inlet either if you wish to tow by ocean.. If you want to just have towed to the public boat ramp to extract with a heavy hydraulic boat transport you can do that as well, it is located basically 1000 feet away from the Bay Shore Marina Public Boat ramp 11706...
