With modest mechanical skills and you could be on the water in this floating cottage.The Good: Solid hull, great restored interior and very comfortable for floating cottage.The Bad: Engines not running. Two GM Small Block engines (Chris Craft 307Q 200 hp). Each has water mixed with oil...common problem. Both engines run, but haven't due to water in oil. Have parts to repair but not the time or health. Interior has been redone...new flooring, upholstery, lighting, paneling. All beautiful. Deck is unfinished but has new, outside carpet...all cut perfectly and just needs to be glued down. After engine work complete all can be reinstalled easily. With engines working they sell for $8,000 or more. A mechanic said he'd get two used engines and install them for $2-3,000 if that's preferred over repairing existing.
