Having a hull design with such a rich history in offshore racing is pretty cool. In the early 70's only 220 of these boats were produced and sold in total for all years. It's pretty rare.

The XK-22 features the frontal profile, full deep v design, and critical placement of the lifting strakes that Jim Wynne patented. With a 24-degree deadrise this boat becomes the most comfortable boat at speed as the water gets more and more choppy. That hull has a LOT of racing experience built into it. Obviously there have been copies since this series was manufactured, everyone had the benefit of seeing what CC had done, but none of the clones are the real thing like this one. I put a lot of work into this beauty after finding it in inside storage for past 20 years. Losing my storage space so unfortunately must sell.
