NO RESERVE. My loss your gain. 1998 Chris Craft 23 Sport Deck. Built-in Igloo cooler compartment concealed beneath a hinged forward seat cushion. Integral enclosed head, complete with porta-potty and a molded sink. Wrap-around curved tempered glass walk-thru windshield. Starboard and aft doors plus integral bow and swim platforms with fold-up ladders. Volvo Penta 5.7 V-8 stern drive package monitored by a full complement of analog engine gauges. Aft dining table. LCD depth finder, Hour meter/tachometer, Bilge blower, Two bilge pumps w/float switch, Rotary switches, Electric horn, Engine safety shut-off switch w/belt clip, Cockpit courtesy lighting (LED), International navigational lighting, In-floor ski/kneeboard locker, Ski tow (transom mounted, stainless steel), Igloo cooler. Transom fresh water holding tank with shower heads. Two new batteries (one month old). AM-FM CD player w/4 speakers. Includes tandem axle trailer. Trailer is sold with bill of sale. Surge brakes that do not work and is missing one roller. Ten years ago we towed the boat from Fort Myers, Florida behind a Ford Ranger and the trailer had no brakes (without a problem). For the past ten years we only used the trailer two miles in the spring and two miles in the fall to put the boat in the lake and take it out. Tires have less than 300 miles on them.We purchased this boat in 2007 from Fort Myers, Florida. We have enjoyed it for the past ten years. This spring when we put it in Claytor Lake, VA (we live on the lake) we found it was not properly winterized. The engine starts but has a knocking noise. We feel it needs to be replaced. The boat has less than 600 hours and is in exceptional condition. The seats have no rips or tears (except the rear top of the seat above the engine cover has cracks, see photo). Before putting the boat in the lake we filled the gas tank thinking we would have used it up over the summer. The out drive was replaced last spring and runs perfect with no problems. The gel coat is exceptional and shines like new. The boat (to my knowledge) has always been covered and shows little wear and tear. The ten years we owned it the boat was always under a covered roof during the winter and a covered dock in the summer. We are retired and disabled and do not want to invest in an engine. My loss, your gain. This is an amazing boat and we will miss all the fun of being on it. Again, it needs an engine, but that is all. This is being sold as-is with no reserve.
