For Sale 1977 Chris Craft Express with Venture 3 axle 8625 Lbs max load trailer $3,900. Price for quick sale. I purchased this boat about three years ago. I dont have a lot of history but I was told by the owner that the boat had been passed down from grandparents to sibling. At the time I had a lot more enthusiasm and a grander vision than I had skills and funds to bring the boat back to a really nice family weekend cruiser. I was able to put the boat on the river for a trial run for just over two hours and it ran well. But upon returning to the dock the port transmission wouldnt drive in reverse once it turned for a minute. I hauled it out of the river to replace the transmission but later decided I wasnt going to restore the boat to the condition that I needed. Now I hope to find someone that needs a structurally sound Express Cruiser to restore. The boat has strong running duel 181 Marine Power 140 H.P. engines. I dont know the engines hours but both appears to have been overhauled sometime in the past. The trailer has hydraulic brakes. A solid boat with lots of live remaining.
