Chris Craft 17' Special Runabout

I rescued a Vintage Chris Craft 17' Special runabout in Minnesota before I moved to Florida in 2008. This boat was a casualty of a Tornado and a barn fell upon it .It was an incomplete boat at the time of purchase, but it does have engine, trans, prop, rudder, rudder linkage, gearshift& linkage, Steering Wheel and steering linkage, Gas tank, gas Cap. All Other hardware and Instruments were stripped from the boat What is pictured is what you get. The image of the boat in the water is 17' Special runabout and is shown for comparison purposes only.In terms of condition, this is a worthy project. Keel & Chines and frames do not appear to be broken. Deck shelves and much of the deck and hull planking are broken or unusable.

Offsets and drawings are available from the Mariners Museum, Newport News, Virginia.I'm thrifting back my inventory of boats and equipment, I only want recover a small portion of my purchase price and Storage costs.
