Chris Craft 17 Deluxe Forward Cockpit Barrelback

After extensive research I believe this to be the only LEFT HAND DRIVE 17 Deluxe Barrelback ever built. The Mariners Museum has records of one 19 built but no other 17's produced. I cannot find reference or photos of another. If any Chris Craft experts know of any others please contact me directly as for I am fascinated. For reference her Hull ID is 71851 with engine # 22520100% original down to the cotton Chris Craft flag.Words do not do justice to describe this classic Chris. She is as close as you will find to new.Her hull is in fantastic original condition. Tight, solid and dry as a bone. Her topsides are fantastic as well. At one point in her life she received one light topcoat of varnish. Besides that, she remains completely untouched. The original 95hp K motor is in fantastic condition and will fire up after a few hours work. The original canvas interior is in good condition. The seat bases are firm. The cushions/throwables are original but stained. In the best interest of keeping Alyce as original as possible I elected not to replace them. Her all original chrome is excellent with a touch of varnish in areas which comes off easily. Always a freshwater boat. The original owner kept her in a boathouse all her life until 1982 when she was added to a collection. Her last time seeing light of day or water was 1982. Original owners manuals included. Beautiful green canvas full custom cover just back from the cleaners. She sits on a carpeted dolly with metal wheels. I transported her with a enclosed trailer with zero issues.
