This rarerace boat has been thoroughly and professionally restored. The breasthook is the only original piece of wood that was safe to re-use, however use of this piece classifies this boat as a restoration. Hullnumber 42100 was shipped in 1938 and was originally painted red, white and blue. Since all the wood had to be replaced we decided toreplank with mahogany so we stained and varnished. Future owners can easily paint it to put it back to factoryoriginal. No detail was over looked and noexpense was spared in this multi-year restoration. Sides, decks and bottom are each double planked. Decks and sides with epoxy to a marine plywood substrate and the bottom is done with 5200 to marine plywood. The engine, the original triple carb Chris Craft KB, was rebuilt by Van Ness. It only has two hours on it and that was prior to installation. In fact, this boat has zero hours on it. It has been in storage since completion in 2016. It has brand new upholstery, in the correct color. All the original hardware has beenreplated and it currently has 12 coats of Epiphanesvarnish on it. The scoop for the engine hatch is original and on the boat. It hadn't come back from the painter when the pictures were taken. No trailer, no accessories, no cover. Call for detailed photo's if you wish.
