1973 Chris Craft XK 18 Jet Boat. One of about 200 made, and only one of about 50 made with big block 454/400 hp Chris Craft/Guardian Marine engine with Jacuzzi Jet pump. Purchased from the original owner with all sales documentation. The boat is a survivor boat, with it ORIGINAL gel coat, bright and shiny! See photos. The boat also has its original 3 inch FACTORY installed shag carpet, a constant boat conversation piece... The boat has had the interior recovered and is fresh and supple material, very nicely done, including the dash cluster, surround and the cockpit coaming. The windshield has also been reproduced and is fresh and shiny. Not all but most chrome pieces have been redone. The original gas tanks were pulled and taken to a radiator shop where they were cleaned and pressure tested, painted, and re-installed. The motor was taken down to bare block and reassembled, running standard bore. Motor was upgraded to electronic ignition, starts every time. The original Jacuzzi jet pump was disassembled and refresh kit was installed. Dash cluster was disassembled and the gauges sent out for restoration, re-installed. New steering cable on the original steering assembly with original nerf steering wheel. The boat sits on road ready original factory trailer, which I may or may not have the title for... Cover was made for the boat and is suitable for over the road travel. This boat looks awesome and is a boat show attention getter all day long, has won numerous boat local boat show awards. The boat is a classic boat still in its original configuration. Most of these XK 18s have flames painted on them, or the hatch cut and blower sticking out of it. This boat appears as it did at the Chicago Boat show in 1973. This is a great deal at $17,000 or best offer. Buy it today, show it tomorrow.

Couple additional photos added 9/11/16 - photo of original sales agreement, photo of original Chris Craft Equipment Record, picture of bow lifting ring with sun glancing off it.
Just winterized the boat this weekend, heading for the barn soon if not sold!
Original Survivor Boat flaws...
- Scuffs on stern port and starboard, and minor scuffs.
- Camouflaged dock rash on port bow, repainted scuffed areahull gel coat colorand does not stand out.
- Tach works but gives inaccurate reading
- American Flag decal on back from original owner. This is a Vietnam era boat so I merely had a fresh flag decal made and installed over original.
- Brake lights work on trailer, and right turn signal. Left turn signal isn't working.
