Checkmate Enchanter

For sale is my 1986 Checkmate Enchanter. This is a great boat, very fast and turns on a dime. It was a CT/NJ boat most of its life and just took it to FL with me when i moved in November of last year. As such it has been a freshwater boat for most of its life. Engine is a Mercruiser 260hp which is a small block chevy 350 motor in a marine application, Alpha 1 drive, Thru-hull exhaust, padded hull. Sounds like a musclecar on the water. The boat had a paint job put on in April of 2012, the paint is nice and in good shape except for a spot on the back where the previous name of the boat was taken off and the paint is a little dull there. The interior was redone by a seamstress in June 2013. Only piece not redone was the backseat bottom which was in decent shape. She did a good job on it. The motor and drive are in good shape. Fires right up and idles perfect. I used this boat at least every other day in 2013 and it never let me down. I haven't used it much this year as my son has hit the toddler age and i really just don't have anytime to use it anymore. Thats the reason its for sale. I love this boat and hate to see it go but it would be in a much better home with someone who could use it the way it should be. Things i know it could use soon are an exhaust manifold gasket, and a lower steering pin in the outdrive. But runs and drives perfectly fine as is. This is a turn-key water ready boat but keep in mind it is an older boat and by no means in brand new condition. As so it is sold with no warranty expressed or implied. Trailer is included in sale.
