Checkmate

1989 Checkmate 281 Maxxum. 28 ft, twin 454 MerCruiser engines, bravo 1 outdrives. I have own this boat for two seasons now boat starts and drives great there are no motor or mechanical issues. The boat cruises nicely at mid to high 50s and will even touch mid 70s. The boat had some scuffs on both sides just below the rub rail, I have refiberglassed and smooth those areas over and red gel coated those with matching color. The areas that have been touched up have the orange peel look just a little bit but could be gone with a good wet sanding and the boat would look even better with a wrap. The upholstery in the cockpit is in decent condition could definitely get a few more years out of it if taking care of or be reupholstered if it was a must for the new owner. The cutty is in excellent condition and all furniture and the cutting is in great shape. Has a sink and has water reservoir for sink. This is overall a great boat and it is in great shape for the year. We are only selling because we are moving and will not be able to use it in the area we are moving to unless we want to drive an hour and a half. Clean title
