Checkmate

I'm selling my 1999 Checkmate 235 Persuader. This boat runs and drives perfect. The engine a fuel injected MerCruiser, it starts right up, and does not burn any oil. It has a through haul exhaust that sounds awesome, and has a great feature that it can be made quiet at the flip of a switch right on the dashboard. The outdrive runs perfect, and is quiet.All interior of the boat is in good shape, except for the wood base of the back seat. It has a little rot will need to be fixed eventually.All lights and gauges on the boat work great.When I purchased the boat it had some fiberglass damage on the haul which I repaired myself using fiberglass and Seahawk gel coat. The fiberglass job was smooth, but the gel coat has some waves in it since I applied it with a brush. It isn't a perfect job, but it is very solid. (The damage was only surface, and did not go the whole way through the boat).The trailer is a custom built all aluminum venture tandem axel, with 4 disc brakes. This boat ran great for me all summer. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is to get a wakeboard boat next season.
