On the deck, the integrated bow pulpit includes an anchor guard and windlass. Belowdecks, there's sleepingaccommodationsfor two with a fully enclosed fiberglass head. Designed with a 9-foot 3-inch beam, the 285 can tackle big seas yet is agile enough for weekends on the river. The Extended V-Plane bottom coupled with the twin 320-horsepower V-8s runs amazing.

This boat has been kept in a high and dry marina, therefore; does not include a trailer. We have new and used trailers available upon request. This Chaparral has been primarily run in the Manatee River located in Palmetto, FL.

The Motors

The power plant behind this 285ssi is amazing! We

picked this boat up from the owners high and dry marina which is approximately

45 minute ride to our office and had an unbelievable time. The motors ran great

with no problems at all. The RPMs ran up equally with the response of the

Livorsi controls and we experienced no temperature issues what so ever. On the

dash, there are two digital hour meter in which only one of the works. The

reading on the gauge is around 465 hours. Considering this is not a fishing

boat that alternates motors to cruise while fishing, we can be safe to assume

the opposing motor is within a couple hours difference. Please read through the

latest major service bill performed in 2012 that included the riser and manifolds

service amongst other essential service items that necessary for inboard /

The Trailer

The boat does not come with a trailer because it has been stored in a high and dry marina. The purchase price for a used dual axle trailer is an additional $3,285. If you are interested in a new aluminum trailer, your additional fees will be $4,285. The new trailer will be equipped as followed: Single Set of Brakes (2nd set is $285 more), SS Hardware, Aluminum Bunks and Guide Poles. Please let us know and we will ad it to your winning bid!
