2005 CHAPARRAL 260SSI, 496 MAG, BRAVO 3 OUTDRIVE, TANDEM AXLE TRAILER, BOW AND COCKPIT COVERS, AWESOME SWIM PLATFORM, TRANSOM SHOWER, DUAL BATTERY SWITCH, BIMINI TOP, FILLER CUSHIONS FOR THE FRONT AND REAR, ALL MATCHING TIRES INCLUDING SPARE, PORTI POTTI, PRESSURIZED WATER SYSTEM FOR THE SINKS AND BACK SHOWER, DEPTH FINDER, PRETTY RARE CAPTAINS CALL EXHAUST (ESPECIALLY IN A BIG BLOCK), FLIP UP BOLSTER SEATS, CLOSED COOLING SYSTEM (GREAT FOR WINTERIZING), AND IN THE EVENT YOU DON'T GET IT WINTERIZED AT LEAST YOUR MOTOR ISN'T JUNK FROM FREEZE DAMAGE. IS IN OVERALL PRETTY DANG GOOD SHAPE FOR ITS AGE, ALUMINUM I-BEAM TRAILER, CLEAN CLEAR OKLAHOMA TITLE, AND I HAVE THE OKLAHOMA REGISTRATION FOR THE TRAILER. (OKLAHOMA DOES NOT TITLE BOAT TRAILERS). TRAILER LIGHTS WORK. THE BOTTOM OF THE HULL AND EXTERIOR ARE IN GREAT SHAPE FOR ITS AGE, 1 LITTLE CHIP ON THE RIGHT REAR OF THE ENGINE COVER AND A FEW SCRATCHES ON THE LH SIDE. THE CENTER WALK THROUGH TRANSOM IS WHAT IS SO NICE ABOUT THIS BOAT. STARTS AND RUNS GREAT, IT DOES HAVE A GIMBLE BEARING MAKING A LITTLE CLUNKING AND HOWLING IN THE REAR. SO I WOULD PROBABLY REPLACE IT IN THE FUTURE. THE BAD: WHEN THE STEREO WAS WIRED UP FOR THIS MONSTER STEREO SYSTEM THEY WIRED THE BATTERIES FOR THE STEREO ONLY IN SERIES (3 BATTERIES)....SO IT MADE 36V. THIS CAUGHT ABOUT 3 FT. OF SPEAKER WIRE COMING FROM THE 2 AMPS ON FIRE THAT WAS IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THIS CAUSED ENOUGH SMOKE AND HEAT TO MELT THE FELT "SOUND DEADENING" MATERIAL STUFF THAT IS ON THE UNDER THE TOP OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT HOOD. THIS MATERIAL DRIPPED DOWN AND MADE A MESS ON THE FWD END OF THE ENGINE. THE FIRE BOTTLE DID NOT BLOW. I HAVE REPLACED THE VOLTMETER ON THE DASH AND THE TRIM AND MASTER GUAGE. I'M NOT SURE IF THEY DIDN'T WORK DUE TO THE 36V ISSUE OR THEY JUST SAT. (BOAT WAS STORED FOR 3 YEARS). SO THE GUAGES ARE CORRECT, JUST THE FACES ARE DIFFERENT COLOR WHITE, SOME ARE FADED AND THE NEW ONES ARE BRIGHT WHITE. THE STEREO HEAD UNIT STILL COMES ON AND APPEARS TO WORK, BUT I TOOK ALL OF THE AMPS/BATTERIES OFFLINE WITH THE PERKO SWITCH. SO YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL YOUR OWN/NEW/FIX/ THE STEREO SYSTEM AND REDO THE SWITCH THE WAY YOU LIKE IT. FOR SELLING PURPOSES CONSIDER THE STEREO JUNK BUT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO FIX IT. NO IDEANO ENGINE DAMAGE OR WIRING DAMAGE OCCURRED OTHER THAN COSMETIC, THE SPEAKER WIRES WERE JUST HANGING IN THE MIDDLE SECTION FORWARD OF THE ENGINE. YOU COULD POSSIBLY GET THESE DRIP MARKS OF BLACK STUFF OFF WITH SOME TIME AND WHEN THE HOOD IS SHUT YOU CANT SEE ANY OF IT. IT HAS BEEN USED IN SALT WATER SOME PART OF ITS LIFE, I CAN SEE PARTS OF WHERE THERE IS A BIT OF CORROSION HERE AND THERE, VERY MINIMAL BUT NEEDS MENTIONED, THE TRAILER HAS SOME CORROSION AS WELL, THAT'S WHERE I FIRST NOTICED IT. I BUY MY BOATS FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANIES WHEN THEY DON'T WANT TO FIX THEM,,,,,. SO I HAVE NO HISTORY OF HOW MANY OWNERS/HOW/WHO/WHERE/WHEN/WHY THE FIRE HAPPENED. (OTHER THAN THE OBVIOUS WHEN I LOOKED AT THE STEREO WIRING) I HAVE LAKE TESTED THIS BOAT TWICE AT THE LAKE FOR OVER AN HOUR AND IT RAN GREAT OTHER THAN THE GIMBAL MAKING THE USUAL NOISE.
