Up for grabs is my 2005 Chaparral 230SSI. I am the 3rd owner, and had the boat since 2017. Boat is in great mechanical shape, I have done a major tuneup last season (plugs, wires, fluids, and thermostat); which I only put 5 hours on the boat since. I have also replaced the impeller pump, the fuel pump assembly (OEM Volvo unit $1200), serpentine assembly, belts and tensioner. The boat starts up every time and has been stored with fuel stabilizer. I had the lower unit inspected and pressure tested last season; at which time they found no issues with it. Exterior has few few nicks and hairline cracks on the top of the boat, but is in exceptionally great shape for its age. The exterior can use a compound wax treatment and the boat will look brand new. Great gel coat. The bottom of the boat was painted black and has a bow guard so you can park the boat on the beach. I also put in foam teak floors back in 2018. There's also a seatek foam deck on the back of the boat which I just installed today ($800), never seen water! I installed a new Fusion head unit, with Memphis Audio speakers all around. The boat is wired for a subwoofer but I removed it, I can throw it back in if interested with a strong offer, audio system sounds great and clear. I was told that the trailer was not original to the boat, its a 2006 Sea Lion Trailer. I have changed all 4 tires, packed all bearings and replaced the brake pads under my watch. The boat has been trailered from Havsu to Tahoe and back to California with no issues. Now for the known issues: 1. The water system on the boat (for the sinks) have never been connected. I bought it that way, and I never had the desire to get it operational. All parts are there to run it again, never had the desire to use it. 2. The interior. The boat has sun spots on the interior, which is why my asking price is as such. There are no rips in the interior, it's just the issue of the leather being sun stained. You may be able to have the seats dyed; but I have never looked into it as the seats are still comfortable. The captains and co captains chairs are in great shape and don't need a thing. Boat comes with a cover, I broke the Bimini top, but they sell them on classifieds board for cheap. Boat is also Tahoe sealed and inspected so she's ready to go to Lake Tahoe. I am available for any requests or additional info, I can be reached at phone. I will be posting a startup video/idling video shortly. The boat currently in storage and waiting for a new owner. I am only selling because my new boat is ready, so I do not have need for her anymore. I am very motivated to sell; so please make me an offer; the worst I can say is "no" Keep in mind that the low bluebook for this boat is: $24,100.00 This price does not reflect the engine having insanely low hours, but I got to move on so buy her now, or make me an offer. Thanks for your time!
