1990 Chaparral SL2000 20 Bowrider

20 Chaparral Bowrider for sale, in very good condition. Well-maintained Mercruiser 5.0 liter V-8 inboard/outboard engine , the larger option engine for this model, pulls about 230 hp, plenty of power for skiing or wakeboarding. Seats 8 people. Plenty of summer left to use it. Clear title. Single axle trailer included (needs new tires soon). Will include 8 or 9 assorted sized life jackets (6 adult, 2 kids), bumpers, anchor, dock lines, trailer cover, towrope and inflatable tube, and other odds and ends. This boat is currently in storage at Holly Acres in Woodbridge VA under shrink wrap. The boat was winterized and the bottom was acid washed before being put away in Nov 2014. No bottom paint on this boat, ever. Boat shows some minor wear and tear, but looks half its age and is in far better condition than most 25 year old boats youll see, and runs very strong. Youre free to call the mechanic Ive used to service her all necessary maintenance has been done and she is ready for the water. All electrical and gauges are working normally. New battery, spark plugs and wires in July 2014. Engine was compression tested to satisfaction before I purchased it in Sept 2013. The boat has an old snap-front bimini cover on it thats functional, but could use replacement.

The boat has one major need the engine cover box is gone and needs to be replaced. Ive paid $600 toward a new one to be built by an upholsterer in Woodbridge, and youre welcome to benefit from that and pay the balance, or have it taken care of on your own.
