This is a one-owner boat that has been in my family since 1983. It has spent its life in covered storage. In 2014, my dad spent over $16,000 having the boat restored. (I have receipts.) It has only 68 hours since the restoration. The work included:

  • a re-manufactured 350 cubic inch engine (an upgrade over the original 305)
  • a new stern drive
  • re-covered interior
  • hull was buffed, re-striped and re-lettered
  • refinished teak wood
This listing included an over-sized galvanized trailer with new tires. The trailer has disc brakes on the front axle. The trailer could support a larger boat if needed. The size of the trailer makes the boat very easy to launch.This listing also includes:
  • the original full canvas that is still is decent shape. It covers the entire boat.
  • a spare propeller
  • a bimini top
The boat has a new battery and is ready for some summer fun!

Is this boat still for sale? The add appears dated. I grew up using my Dad’s ‘84 Chaparral, which was almost identical to yours. If it’s still for sale, I’m interested in hearing more about the condition and possibly making the purchase. Hope to hear from you. Thanks.
