Chaparral 187

I have my classic 1983 chaparral 187 open bow boat for sale. This is a

great 19' family boat that I have owned and maintained for 3 years. It

has a low hour great running mercruiser 470 large 4-cylinder engine with

matching out drive with stainless 21 pitch prop. Great on gas with a lot of

torque for pulling skiers or tubers. I have performed a lot of upgrades

to the boat over the years including adding an alternator, converter to

electronic ignition with high out put coil and msd wires, rebuild/reseal

out drive with new fluid, gimble bearing, water pump impeller, bellow

boots and shift cable. Carburetor has been rebuilt and tuned for new

ignition with new fuel filter and fuel water separator installed this

season. Replaced many gaskets, seals and hoses etc. All maintenance

items are performed every season. Also have added a kenwood cd/mp3

player with infinity 6 1/2 separates up front with 6x9 in rear seats -

sounds really good even while cruising. Ive also added a matching bimini

top to keep it cool when hanging out in a cove. It also comes with the

pictured factory storage/rain cover thats in great shape. Ive also added

another cover that I use when storing out of season in the garage. The

trailer is in great shape also with new wheels and tires, 2 spare tire,

new led tail lights and marker lights as well a new tongue jack.

Bearings in trailer have bearing buddies and are maintained every

season. Resent buff and wax job done and detailed inside and outside.

Not much that I havent done to this boat. Very clean, reliable and fun

boat. Only selling so I can get a larger boat for my growing family.

Will be sad to see it go - it was my first. boat is lake ready and has current GA registration. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
