Champion Boats SWIFT

1980 Champion Swift 16 made by the Champion Bass Boat Co. They made a 20 and this 16 ski boat around 1980 to fill out their product line. Less than 10 of this 16 model were produced. The boat has a pad bottom and sits up and runs like an Allison. Its powered by a 1980 vintage 200 Mercury with nose cone gear case and stainless prop. The trailer is a rock solid Cobra Custom with spare tire.

THE GOOD

Boat is very solid with strong transom and glossy finish. Dual cable mechanical steering, trim on the wheel, tach speedo, water pressure gauges, 6 gal. gas tank and Hot Foot throttle. Seating for 5. The 200 Mercury was rebuilt, rings gaskets and etc last year. Special Hi-Perf cowling included.Motor pushed the boat in the 70s previously.

NEEDS ATTENTION

The cables, gas and electric need to be hooked up to the motor. Motor has not been run since rebuild. The upholstery is lightly faded with average wear and a tick or two around the edges. The carpet on the trailer needs to be replaced.
