Century Sabre

1964 Century Sabre 18 foot hardtop with removable gull wing roof panels. Powered by Interceptor V-8 285 HP. The boat is from Lake Muskoka Ontario and spent its whole life in a boathouse. The boat was completely rebuilt about 20 years ago with all new frames, keel, larger battens, hull sides and transom. 5200 style bottom , engine was rebuilt, most chrome redone, some interior replaced and some is original. Original rubber carpet. Gauges rebuilt and replacement stainless steel gas tank. When I got the boat it had been dry docked in its boathouse for 17 years unused. Seller estimates boat was used less than 50 hours after the restoration.In the past 18 months we have re- painted the bottom, 5 more coats of Epifanes varnish on sides and transom, deck paint, removed engine to paint and detail, painted bilge. Engine completely detailed and painted. All engine accessories rebuilt including carb, fuel pump, water pump, new alternator and regulator, starter, all belts and hoses for engine and trans replaced, exhaust hose replaced, new battery. All replacement parts period correct. Underwater gear re-bedded and new cutlass bearing and prop. Comes with single axle trailer with new lights and tires.Boat runs great and lots of fun to drive.
