I'm listing my 1957 Century Resorter for sale at no reserve. This wonderful wooden boat named Ageless comes with a barely used trailer that was new when I bought the boat about 15 years ago. It has a straight six Gray Marine engine that runs well. The boat is very original including the bottom that needs to be "swelled or swollen" each season. I would use Slick Seam each season to seal the bottom seams before the swelling process. This was effective to slow water uptake while swelling. My hope was to put a 5200 bottom on it but I don't have the time for this.I'm selling because the boat is located 350 miles from me at Brant Lake, NY and I live in PA. I'm never at my parents lake house enough to fully use the boat. It also comes with a unique 4 mount ski tow hitch setup as in the picture. It breaks my heart to sell this boat and my Dad would like me to keep it. We really need the garage space though. There are little things that need attention. The flywheel has a flat spot on it and I use a wrench to move the engine slightly when it won't engage - annoying but not terrible and replacing the flywheel is the real solution. As mentioned, I would recommend redoing the bottom to eliminate the swelling process. It could use a coat of varnish. I don't have time to do these things or I would keep the boat. I'm just too far away and have other projects at home. Feel free to message with any questions. This is a no reserve auction so if you bid, please have funds available to purchase. Thanks for your interest. Dave
