1963 Century Resorter
African mahogany planked original. This boat is complete with all hardware, interior, gauges, etc. It has the original 327 dual carburetor Fireball V8, free turning, good compression. It comes with the original 1963 dealer invoice, build sheet and all service records. Some bottom planks have been removed by the previous owner but all have been saved for patterns. The boat is 100% complete and comes withall of the chrome fittings, railings...everything. This is a couple-weekend project to have ready for vintage boating in the spring.
The trailer is original but basically junk. It's semi-roadworthy (I towed it about 100 miles) but I would replace it immediately or at least as soon as possible. If you bring your own trailer, I can lift the boat and make the switch.I have too many projects and this one needs to find a new home. I can repair the bottom for the new owner and/or do any other work requested but I just don't have time to do the work for myself as a spec job. This is a good solid original mahogany planked runabout with no rot. It's difficult to find an original vintage runabout in this kind of solid condition...which is why I bought it! If you are looking to get into classic boating, you won't find a better/easier project boat than this. I'm listing at a very reasonable starting price with NO RESERVE.1963 Century ResorterAfrican mahogany planked original.
