1962 Century Resorter

Top notch boat restoration completed 5/31/2013 for a total cost of $24,112.59. Boat has no more than 80 hrs of use sincerestoration (roughly 2 outings / year at 5 hrs per outing for 8 years). Restoration was completed by Torch LaceClassics, Inc. at 9291 Clam Lake Road, Bellaire, MI 49615. Full restoration documentation included withitemized breakout of costs and photos throughout the process. Most notable is the replacement of the bottomand then sealed with the application of 3M 5200. Boat was stored in a fully climate-controlledmuseum for 5 6 years of the 8 years since restoration. The remainder of time was stored in a fullyenclosed garage.

Included accessories:

Fantastic galvanized trailer included withpurchase price. Tires have< 1500miles on them since replacement. Niceside platform for easy boarding of boat from trailer or getting off of boatonto trailer. Trailer is titled ashomemade, is a 95 Escort, model BC17.

Full fitted tarp for boat.

Fenders and tie lines.

Paddle with Century burned into the blade.

Century towels still in original wrapping(never been used).

Drivetrain condition:

Engine is the original Ford Interceptor Y blockV8 with a displacement of 272 cubic inches producing 170 HP.

Documentation of prior owners statement thatengine had roughly 500 hrs on it since last rebuild. Present owner only added 130 hours since. 130 hours of use since refurbishing Intakemanifold and carbs.

Documentation of prior owners statement thatthe Velvet Drive transmission had been rebuilt.

Engine and transmission both currently performwithout issue. Boat top ends at 44 mph.

Dont believe engine temperature gauge isworking. Documentation indicates thesending unit was replaced. Either thesending unit went bad again, or the issue is in the wiring or the gauge itself.
