This boat has been through anHeirloom Quality Restoration.The boat was completelydis-assembledby a craftsmanthat has manyyears of experience bringingVintageBoatsback to life.Thefollowing work was performed in the last 10 months.- Engine and Transmission: (Chrysler Marine 340 w/Borg Warner Velvet Drive with 492 original hours):- The engine & transmission were stripped of all components, sanded, and refinished.
- Installed all new belts hoses, impeller, spark plugs, fuel line, fuel filter, fresh oil change, etc.
- A complete tune-up was just performed by a Certified Marine Mechanic.
-Points, Condenser, anddistributor inspectedand timing set.
-All mechanical systems, engine, electrical and transmissionfunction as they should. ** The engine runs strong and drives/shiftsbeautifully. ** -The original Chrysler Marine decals, Borg Warner Velvet drive rotation decals and enginerotation decals were duplicated and installed.-Every little detail was taken into consideration down to the"Add Oil" sticker located on the valve cover.- The original throttle system was serviced and re-installed in the boat.- Rudder/drive-shaft packing inspected and found to be in good condition.
-Electrical - All new dash pull switches were installed.
- Original ignition is fully function so we didn't use the replacement (the spare comes with the boat).
- New 40 AMP breaker.
- New old stockbow light, shift neutral light, and map light/lighter- Installed new Rule brandmanual / Auto bilge pump-new marine battery was installed with master power switch
- Interior- The original marine plywood floors were covered with fiberglass and sealed with resin.- New marine gradecut-loop carpet was professionally installed.- A period correct A & A Marine burgundy interior made to factory specifications and installed.** The company that owns the original factory templates**provided the upholstery embossing the
Century emblems in the seat backs. Cushionwere replaced as needed.**-All seat frames and interior wood in need of repair including the motor box was re-built and painted.- The bilge was inspected and cleaned. There were no major structural problems found in this boat.
- All stringers, bulk heads, floors, and hull are in excellent condition. This boat was high and dry its entire
life ona covered lift or indoors. The boat did not spend its life floating at a dock so the hull is in excellent condition!
- The bilge was inspected and cleaned.-Brightwork
- The majority of the original hardware has been stripped and chromed plated.
- Stainless steel rub rails and trim have been cleaned and polished.- Mahogany was installed in place of the original factory veneer on the dash, front/rear decks, andmotor box.The wood was meticulously finished with 4 coats of Epifanes.-The front mahogany flag pole was replaced while the rear was refinished. Theladder steps wererefinished.
-Both of the flags/ensigns bow and afthave been replaced.
Exterior - The exterior (hull) of the boat has been completely refinished andis of showroom quality. - The white textured decks are in good condition.
