Beautiful 1972 18' Century Resorter

For sale is a beautiful 1972 18' Century Resorter innearly concourse condition.

Originally delivered on 2/9/1972 to Lexington Outboard Marine, in Harrodsburg, KY, this boat had been meticulously maintained by the same family prior to my ownership, and was completely restored to it's former glory by an active ACBS member and judge. The hull was stripped and new gel coat was applied. The interior is new with upholstery and emblems from A & A Marine who was the original Century upholstery supplier when originally built in Manistee, Michigan. All hardware was rechromed and the stainless hardware has been polished. All gauges were restored by Dale Kocian.

The venerable 250HP Chrysler 340ci engine was an optional upgrade in 1972, and was detailed during restoration to include new paint and decals. Oil pan gasket was replaced, upgraded to electronic ignition and a new carb was installed. It runs like new, and sounds stunning.

There were three options available when purchasing a 1972 ResorterAll of which were selected on this boat. First was the rear boarding ladder with mahogany steps. Next, the very rare sliding soft top, which can be easily installed or removed, and most importantly, the Chrysler 340ci V8 which offered 250HP, and sounds fantastic. The vinyl convertable top is in original condition and was not recovered during the restoration. All original mast and burgees are included. Two custom, color-matched mooring covers are also included. One which fits the boat with, and one without the sliding soft top installed.

A new Eagletandem axle trailer was custom built specifically for this boat, and color-matched to the hull. It rolls on RockStar wheels and low-profile tires. The boat looks as good on the trailer as it does in the water.

This boat is located in Columbus, Ohio. Temporary indoor heated storage can be arranged if necessary as she awaits her new owners arrival.
