This boat has been completely rebuilt. Restoration started in 2006 and finished in 2011. The boat was completely taken apart. A new keel, bottom frames, and battens were installed. The original bottom planks were used after they were stripped, sealed with Smith's Clear Penetrating Epoxy Sealer. The bottom was then glassed with System's 3 epoxy and 4 0z fiber cloth. 4 coats of Epoxy barrier coat were then used and the finish color is 4 coats of Brightside's Fire Red. Side planking, frames, deck planking and frames were all removed, cleaned and reused. All side planks and deck planks were reconditioned. After reconstruction with all new fasteners, 2 applications of 2part wood bleach were used. The hull sides, king plank and covering boards were then stained with Interlux 1579 Century stain. This was followed with 12 coats of rolled and tipped Cabot's Spar Varnish. The interior has new cockpit surround and seat cushions and backs. The oak flooring was stripped and bleached, sealed with CPES and coated with Cabot's Polyurethane floor finish. The transom on the boat was replaced with new Honduras mahogany. The Mercury Mark 55 is an original motor. It has been mechanically reconditioned including carbs (2) rebuilt; fuel pump rebuild, magneto rebuild, new plug wires, and wiring harness from the flywheel. The water pump was also rebuilt with a new impellor. Extra effort has been taken since first launch to limit the impact of using ethanol gasoline. No gas has been used that is older than 4 weeks and all fuel has been treated with Marine Stabl and other additives. The boat trailer is fully road worthy but is somewhat rusty and should be repainted. The bunks are adjustable and were added by me to fit the boat. There are tie down straps at the rear which secure the boat. Please note that the gauges in the front dash are not functional (I ran out of time). Running lights do operate and there is an electronic bilge pump. All electronics are run thru a buss bar in the back of the boat thru dash operated switches. The boat includes 3 life jackets, mooring ropes, cover, and fire extinguisher and air horn. The boat was last in the water on Labor Day Saturday of 2014. The boat took "Best Century" award at the Glacier Lakes ACBS Pewaukee Boat show in August of 2014. I would guesstimate there are 20 hours on the boat since the completion of the restoration in 2011. It has been trailered as far as Manistee, Michigan for the annual Century Boat Show in 2012 where it was awarded "Best Self-restoration".

Questions
is the boat described above still available?
Is this boat still for sale?
Just started to restore a 1954 Century Imperial. Need to find a source for the chrome parts. any suggestions on where to start?
Thanks Tim
Is this boat still available? It's not showing it as sold. I'm trying to find the same type of boat my grandfather had back in the 60s, and this appears to be the same one. Please let me know either way!
Kind Regards,
Blair
