Marine-N-Machine presents this beautiful, RARE 1973 Century Buccaneer 22 foot inboard/outboard boat. These are the "Thoroughbred" boats, a TRUE Century. Century began to turn to 'glass in the late 60s, starting with the Buccaneer line. These boats were available in both inboard and I/O models from 18 feet up to 24 feet. This is a very stable boat and it can handle rougher waters. I have personally traversed through 3-5ft seas in it with no issues. I'm sure it can handle more, but I am not that brave. HAHA! The Ford 302/Mercruiser 888 has low hours and runs like a dream. Quiet, powerful, and reliable. The Holley 2bbl carburetor on this beauty was rebuilt this year. It sips fuel. Also replaced this year were the bellows, lower shift cable, fuel gauge sending unit, bimini, and propeller. It now features a Michigan Wheel Rapture stainless steel 21p prop. It takes a little longer to get out of the hole, but she cruises nicely on plane at about 25 mph while turning about 2500 rpm. The fuel gauge refuses to work even after the new sending unit. I believe it is a faulty gauge. Due to my OCD, I have been unable to find a match to replace it, so it remains in the dash. This boat has been to New Jersey, South Carolina, and to Put In Bay twice this year. It has been a great vessel and ALWAYS gets attention. It is great for fishing, day trips to the islands, or just cruising around aimlessly. The hull shines like a new boat, the interior is clean and well kept. Cuddy is comfortable enough to sleep in, should you choose to do so. I have! The bimini is new, and includes removable side curtains. It comes with a mooring/cockpit cover, but it has seen better days. It may have one more winter left in it before needing replaced. I have put ALOT of elbow grease into this boat to bring it up to par. I will include life jackets, 2 anchors, throwable, brand new fire extinguisher, and plenty of line with the sale. The trailer has 4 good tires and one spare that is mainly just to get you to the nearest tire shop. Would recommend replacing it. It will come with another rim to have two spares, but the tire is junk. Lights work on the trailer. Have replacement winch and mount for the trailer as well. The boat runs great, drives great, and is a lot of fun. But, I am moving up to a bigger vessel and this one must sadly find a new home. This boat DOES need a new gimbal bearing. Upon sale, I will have this replaced at no extra cost to the buyer. You will need to provide your own batteries for this vessel.Transportation can be provided to you at additional cost. Final transport cost will be determined by location @ $1.50 per mile one way. This is my transport cost. You are welcome to hire your own transport or pick it up yourself.
