UP FOR BID IS A USED 28 FT CENTURY, THIS HAS TWIN ENGINES, PORT HAS BEEN REBUILT, Transom, battery shelfs, and bulkhead wall has been replaced three years ago. It need some TLC and carpet. replaced. Good cleaning from winter storage. This boat was last used last year. Due to health problems I can no longer afford to keep it in the Marina, The Boat is stored at Midway Marina in wyndotte Michigan. So if someone wants it further you will have to get a boat transporter to move the boat for you. which can cost 300-1500 depending how far. I rebuilt the port engine because it kept blowing the rear piston once on the original owner and twice on me. When I pulled both engines out to replace the transom I took the engine to National Machine inWyndotte Mi. to have the bores checked, to my surprize the back cylinder was .012" oversized . I had the engine bored .030 put in new pistons, rings, crank turned. Engine has been running great since the rebuild in 2010. Both engines has the points changed over to solid state to remove the point problems. I also changed over to a 105 amp one wire alternator which chargs at idle. The stock only putout 28 amps at 4000 rpms. very little at idle. The bracket for the alternator need to be adjusted a little more to the front. The belt runs off after a while. I will take $3000.00 firm on the price, has mooring cover but no camper top. would make a nice family boat.
