Century

This is a unique Century. Resorter. Most of these later model wood Century's were 18' (17.5), The nineteen was produced in much smaller numbers. The extra foot give seating on the front edge of the motor cover (instead of hanging feet into the front seat. It rides better (I've owned a 18 as well) and handles the waves with ease. You can put ten people in this boat and bring it up on plane in seconds. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2009 after a poor winterization. New short block, but all else is original. The boat runs as well as any boat I've owned. The hull has some weak spots, but it is very useable. In the long run, this boat deserves a 5200 bottom. The interior is in excellent condition. Boat was refinished 5 years ago and will need to be done again in the next couple of years.I purchased this boat on classifieds board in 2005 for $15,500 including the trailer. The trailer is a 2004 CONTINENTAL aluminum trailer that was over $2000 new and would cost $3000 today. Dual axel, but no trailer brakes. Tows like a dream.The boat has always been in fresh water. It was rebuilt in central Florida but has been in Northern Minnesota the last 15 years. It lives in a boatlift under a canopy. It had the starter rebuilt this summer with new ignition.
