You are bidding on a very clean 2002 Centurion Escalade Avalanche Storm II Ski/Wake Board boat with only 200 hours on a 315HP Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI engine. It comes with a matching Centurion dual axle trailer. The boat is a 23' 6" open bow V-Drive with an 8' 4" beam, so has plenty of room for seating as the engine is in the back under a piston lift sun deck but it still operates as an inboard tournament style ski/wake board boat. It is a Storm II model, so has a tower, dual batteries, stereo, ballast system and as an added option has a dual cylinder trim tab. It was initially custom built as a demo boat for Centurion's North Carolina region, and I have the original build order, etc. as well as the brochure for the boat from 2002. I bought the boat in NC a little over a year ago, and was able to get the boat history via the hull number by calling Centurion in California. It is listed at 3,200 lbs (without the trailer) and has a 36 gallon gas tank. It is rated for 10 passengers or 1,350 lbs capacity. It has two mooring covers, one for the open bow and one for the main cabin, but they are too tight to snap all the way around, so might need stretching or some snap extenders. I got an aftermarket cover that covers the whole boat for storage. It has a digital speedometer/depth finder which work fine, but the analog (dial) speedometer does not work, but all other lights/gauges do work, as does the radio, which has tower speakers. The hull is in very good condition, has a few nicks and scratches here and there, but overall in very good shape. The upholstery has one or two minor cracks, but otherwise is very clean, as is the carpet and interior.I bought this boat for use on a local lake and occasionally on Lake Michigan, and we did use it a half dozen times or so (about 50 hours) and it performed well. However, it is clearly set up for more serious skier/wake boarder enthusiasts than my kids and their friends, as most of them want to tube, which this boat does very well, but it is designed for better things. I would still like to have a boat, preferably an open bow inboard ski boat, so if you are looking to move up to a V-Drive with ballast, tower, etc. and have a decent inboard ski boat you'd like to trade in I would be fine with that, BUT we need to talk ahead of time about relative value of the trade. The boat is located in Crown Point, IN, about 48 miles from the Chicago loop. This is a local pickup only, and any bidder is welcome to call me at phone to see it before the auction ends. The boat is in as is condition, but I did just pick it up from my local marina after it was de-winterized and cleaned, and they started it runs fine. I have the boat and trailer titles in hand, and ask that the winning bidder pay a $500 deposit within 2 days of auction end and the balance within a week, although I can keep the boat under roof for quite some time, so no rush on pickup.PLEASE remember that if you want me to consider a partial trade you must call me at phone to discuss BEFORE you make an offer/bid. I prefer an inboard, but if you have a runabout in the 18' range I might consider that too.My name is Mike, and I welcome all questions. Again my cell phone is phoneThanks for looking!
