Boat is in pretty solid shape for being 24 years old. No major mechanical or critical defects. I believe the only minor defect would be that you will have to replace the starter solenoid some time soon which is very cheap. The trim gauge also does not work however you can spot when your trim is full down or up with no problem or listen to the sound of the trim when it changes in full up or down. There are also a few soft spots on the flooring but not major. These are to be expected when having an older boat.

Description:

This is a used 1992 Celebrity 181 Bowrider that I have owned free and clear for 1 year. Its a great little boat that I have had no major mechanical issues with thus far. I do believe the starter solenoid might be getting weak and may go out soon but other than that this boat runs solid. Boat trailer is in good condition as well. I have renewed the tags for the trailer this year and the tags on the boat are still good. Key items below. I am currently storing this boat on my sister's land in Campbell, TX which is an hour drive from my house so please allow me advanced notice for pick up as I will not be able to meet you at last minute unless timing permits. 1. I am the 3rd owner of this boat. Has been well maintained for a 22 year old boat. 2. 4.3 Mercruiser LX with about 580 hours. Runs strong, reliable, plenty of power for skiing and towing tubes. 3. Exhaust manifolds were replaced in 2011, new bellows, gimball bearing and u-joints. 4. New trim senders. 5. Upholstery was replaced in 2010. Carpet replaced but not brand new. 6. Steering cable replaced in 2009. 7. Trailer bunks replaced in 2009 as well as one in 2013. 2009 wheel bearings replaced as well as bearing buddys and lights. 8. Kenwood receiver/cd player with aux input for your ipod etc. 6x9 speakers under rear seat. 6.5 speakers in front of footwell. 9. Boat has a lot of life left in it and will be a great ski boat/runabout for someone for many more years. 10. Floor has a couple of soft spots, not major but they are there. Again the boat is 24 years old. They have been there since I've owned it and they are no worse than when I bought it. 11. Motor is in good working condition. Also in good working condition are the bildge pump, debth finder, trim/tilt, horn, and lights. Will come with two set of keys and the gas opener. 12. 21" stainless prop has some nicks on it but still in working condition. It was replaced in 2011. 13. I will throw in the anchor with rope, docking rope, some life jackets, boat cover, and tow rope for skiing and tubing. 14. Title is clear and I will transfer to you upon sale. 15. Local pick up only.
