Thats Right.
Another fantastic auction brought to you by
Autowerks of Northbrook
With a sad heart I am listing what has been my refuge for the last several years. It is the ideal liveaboard with probably the largest interior space(headroom too) of any boat on the market under 50ft. With its 15 foot wide beam Carver did a fantastic job designing the interior tomaximize every square foot. With extensive teak wood everywhere, parquet floors in the galley and heads this boat truly feels like home.
In the lastfew years I have basically replaced everything on the boat.
The forward stateroom with its centerline berth is is spacious and features abundant storage with two hanging lockers and several cabinets. Linens, carpeting and wall treatments are new. With its own reverse cycle heat/air and private entrance to the midship head this guest stateroom will please anyone.
The midship bath is spacious and features a mosaic tiled backsplash, electric head and very large shower.
The galley is probably one of the best things on this boat and you will be hard pressed to find its rival in a boat under 50ft. Full size fridge, princess three burner electric range with oven, microwave and a very large dishwasher make this galley one of the most useable boat galleys I have ever seen. I added a mosaic tile backsplash andLCD tv so I never missed an inning of my favorite game while cooking.
Up three steps from the galley is thespacious salon.New carpeting, new sunbrella fabric on the futon and stools, new wall coverings and a 42 inch LCD with built in DVD make this perfect for entertaining. Futon opens and comfortably sleeps two.The salon also features a ice maker, wetbar and mosaic tiled counters. It is open and bright with abundant windows.
Down three steps features the Master stateroom fit for a king. Centerline platform queen bed with new mattress and linens is fantastic. Storage is abundant with two very large hanging lockers and cabinets galore. With its own ensuite head with seperate shower stall and mosaic tile backsplash you will never want to leave this oasis.LCD tv with DVD for those rainy days when you dont want to get out of bed.
The aft deck is huge and features new rattan furniture with new sunbrella fabric that matches the interior. Rich tan berber carpet new in 2012 was customfitted with extra pieces for all steps. What makes this boat stand out from other aft cabin cruisers is that the aft deck is not enclosed leaving it perfect for entertaining in the sun or enjoyingthe stars at night. Icemaker, fridge, wetbarand grill add to the comforts.
The flybridge features new tan berber carpet and all new upholstery on all seating surfaces. Custom madevinyl covers protect all seating and the helm in case you do not want to put on all the canvas. All eisenglass is brand new.Electronics are older but function as they should.
Forward deck features stainless steel bumper racks, a Seawolf Windlass and a new custom made sunpad with cover.
The engine room is spacious with plenty of room to work. The boat was repowered with Peninsular Diesels in 2005 andhave less than 200 hours on them(720 hours on boat total.) Peninsular Diesels are built off the popular, bulletproof GMC 6.5 Turbo dieselwith parts readily available at any local auto parts store. The diesel Onan generator was recently serviced by onan and runs flawlessly. The water heater was replaced last season. I have spare parts galore in the engine room that will all be included in the sale.
The stereo system is incredible with hertz/audison amps and speakers and alpine weather proof controls and four zones. LED accents surround the boat as well as the flybridge and under counter in the salon.
Overall condition of the boat is very good with a few nicks and scratches on the hull. Mechanically she is sound and never lets me down. She is big enough to party 30 while being nimble enoughto besingle handed.
"Thanks For The Invite" or commonly called "TFTI" has treated me fantastically over the last several years but I need a three cabin boat for my three kids. I have two other boats, a 38 Fountain SC and a 24 Whaler Outrageand have been boating all my life. I would have no concerns taking TFTI on the Great Loop or down to the Bahamas.
I am going to forget a ton of stuff so I will add on as things come to mind. New batteries this year plus one spare.Extra set of props. Temp Alert wireless temperature alarm alerts you if the boat gets too cold or too hot. They also offer a water alarm if you want to add. Its a great productso you can constantly monitor your boat anywhere in the world. Boat has an alarm system with motion sensors and window/door triggers. Shafts and props were removed/repacked last winter. Hull is free from blisters.
I am one of those guys who loves projects.I recently replaced all the eisenglass. Recovered all the walls with linen sunbrella, retiled the backsplashes, replaced the salon AC with a 16,000 BTU Dometic and plan on resurfacing all the counters if time permits.
Winning bidder can leave it in my slip until the end of season if desired. I can also assist with affordable winter storage. I will consider partial owner financing with a substantial down payment if the boat stays inLake Michigan.
I am open to interesting trades. Cars, boats. Tell me what you have.
Almost forgot."TFTI" makes a brief appearance in the short film "The Transferants"

I will consider partial financing to qualified individuals. As well, I can assist with slip placement in Chicago or transport anywhere as long as you supply the beer..
