This is a great boat to finish restoring. All stringers have been replaced and now are better than when boat was manufactured. Boat requires TLC. Sidewall covering and carpeting removed in Main Salon. Interior Main Salon is not complete. Any interior pieces not reinstalled will be provided with boat. Boat has twin 220HP Crusader(Chevrolet)engines with Velvet drive transmissions and V-drives. Engines have 400 hours each. Both were run last fall. Engines are installed and aligned,however they are not wired and installation is not completed. Two new metal galvanized fuel tanks are also included and need to be installed. New batteries are required. Flybridge ladder needs installing. Small fiberglass repair done on bow nose under rub rail. Same type repair at top of port side grab handle. Some upper boot stripping needs replacing. Bottom freshly painted. Needs wax. Stern railing needs to be reinstalled and all Bright Work needs refinishing. Mid-ship Bulkhead and Door need refinishing.

Description:

Selling a 1979, 28' Carver Voyager Yacht.Boat is in very good condition for it's age. The vessel has had much restoration work done to it, however it still requires some TLC. No soft spots exist anywhere on boat. Flybridge, Cabin Top, Forward Deck, Gunwales, Aft Deck, Bottom, Hull and Stern are all solid and sound. All Glass in excellent Condition. Engines, Transmissions, New Fuel Tanks and Brass Props are worth more than Reserve Price. Boat is a diamond in the ruff.

The boat was purchased from a charity organization to help support their cause, All the stringers have been replaced and are stronger and better than when the boat was originally manufactured! Both engines are re-installed and aligned. Each engine is a Crusader (Chevrolet) 220HP with 400 hours. Velvet drive transmissions and V-Drives are also in place. Please Note engines need completion of installation (wiring, hoses, etc.). Both engines were test run before being replaced in boat.Two new fuel tanks have yet to be installed.

Interior carpet and sidewall hull covering has been removed in Main Salon as well as dinette. Items were removed to access stringers for replacement. New floor is completely replaced. All interior cushions and dinette are provided with boat. Restoration work is continuing and will do so until boat is sold.

This vessel is an excellent family and or fishing boat. The boat sleeps six. Comes complete with upper and lower control stations. Galley is complete with Range, Refgrigerator and Sink. Head is full standup with shower and sink. Boat has full Bow and GunaleRailing and Aft Stern Railing. Also includes Fiberglass Swim Platform with Chrome Water Ladder.Flybridge has Aft Chrome Railing and Ladder. (Ladder not installed as of yet). Bottom ofvessel was stripped and three coats of bottom finish applied. All Bright work needs refinishing, including Mid-Ship Bulkhead Wall and Door.

Boat is currently registered until 2018.

Vessel is currently stored indoors in Harrison Township, Michigan. May be moving to outside yard. Flybridge has a cover that is in fair to poor condition. At this time boat needs rub out and wax, (may be completed before auction ends. trying to have cabin completed first).If you wish to view the vessel prior to bidding, please message me for details.
