Carver Boats Voyager

This spacious sport sedan is great for a family. It has offshore styling with a sleeping capacity of six. It boasts an aft "family room" with a sofa that converts to a double berth, and room for comfy chairs. The entry to the family room is a large tinted sliding door. Just beyond the door is the stern deck, with room for seating, and ladder access to the bridge deck. The interior layout moving forward includes a port side dinette that seats four and converts to a double berth.To starboard, a full galley with plenty of cabinet space, a three burner stove with oven below, a two door refrigerator and freezer, and a double stainless steel sink. The galley is directly across from the dinette, allowing for easy serving of meals. Continuing forward, the port side has a large hanging locker, that acts as a pantry, and can also be accessed from the forward cabin. To starboard, there is a large head with separate shower. Moving to the bow, there is a private forward stateroom with a double berth angled on the starboard side, allowing room for a dresser to port. There is a forward hatch that allows in plenty of light when open.Due to the spacious layout, private forward berth, and full galley, this boat would be great as a live aboard for one or two people, with room for guests.Looking to do some fishing? This boat has space for a live well and a bait well and outriggers.

Information On Condition

The boat has some normal wear and tear since it is an older boat. But, given the age, it is in really good shape.

- Water system works on city / pressurized water, however have not used water tanks / pumps. Never really worked well since I got the boat and didn't spend time investigating.

- Wiring for VHF radio on upper deck and PA system needs new connectors.

- Could use new canvasses - current upper deck cover has a tear and front window cover also worn.

- Front hatch windows leak slightly during hard rain.

- Some cabin light bulbs need replacement

- Started sanding wood rails in for refinishing but have not completed.

- New Packings in 2018.

- Both engines have been replaced. (971hrs, 447hrs)

- There is a board in the rear starboard side in the engine compartment where that reinforces the mounts for the swim platform. In 2014 had to silicon around it to seal small trickle of water. May need more silicon if trickle recurs at launch.

- Replaced the old carpet throughout with wood laminate in 2008. However, over the hatches in the flooring there is not laminate and we cover with area rugs.

- Not sure if trim tabs work - hasn't seemed necessary as boat planes out nicely w/o adjusting.

- Water pumps for engines replaced in 2014Wheel out below rub line each year and wax. Inside storage from 2007 - spring 2014 during winter. Fall 2014 was shrink wrapped. Painted bottom every 3 years with anti-fouling paint. Last painted July 2018. Needs complete detailing, including outside woodwork varnishing, to make her nice.
