This is a remarkable boat with three distinct areas consisting of a forward cabin with v-berth, galley and fully enclosed head, a center cockpit with dinette/bunk and seating for seven, and an aft cabin with 2 1/2 berths, wash basin and vanity. Purchased in 2008, the boat has only been in the water half of the seasons with no more than three tanks of gas exhausted. Prior to that, the boat was essentially used as a floating cabin by a young family. The twin 220HP Crusader engines were reported as both under 75 hours in a 2002 survey and in the last 12 years have now reached near 200 hours. The condition of the boat is little changed since the 2002 survey. Hull paint is intact and clean. New high efficiency props were installed in 2013 resulting in greater smoothness and speed, near 30 knots, but cruising comfortably and economically at 8 to 12 knots. GPS system and radar are dated, working last year. Canvas is dated and water proofed last year. Swim platform and many extras.

Description:

The boat is a 31 year old boat, lightly used, clean and well cared for and stored indoors during the winter and several of the past summers. The boat is no longer used due to debilitating illness of the First Mate. All parts of the boat were rated serviceable in the 2002 survey and appear to remain little changed from that condition save some of the canvas which could be restitched adjacent to some of the vinyl. The antenna tip is snapped. The boat is fitted with a bow pulpit, chain locker, nine cleats, radar arch, screens, cushions in good condition, abundant storage, a vac-u-flush toilet, three sinks, a stove, oven, refrigerator and sound system.

Maintained professionally since 2008 and both professionally and personally by the very competent previous owner. Engines have been completely service each year prior to storage and in recommissioning.

Given the reasonableness of many marinas, this boat does make fora low cost cabin on the water when compared to of actually owning a cabin on the water. Should the experience not be what you want, you simply move theboat or have it placed elsewhere the following year. Combined with a dingy, shore furniture and a barbecue, you are set!
