When I purchased this boat, it was the best 3607 that I could find of any year. There are three things that I had on the list to be completed this year but have not been done yet:
In-dash wired remote for the AM/FM radio was not installed in the bridge. I have the remote, just ran out of time. The generator probably needs to be tuned up. I have only run the generator three to fourtimes per year once in the spring to make sure it works, mid-year to keep oil in the cylindersand the generator magnetized, and at the end of the year to winterize it. Last year when I winterized it, it started up and the RPMs were surging with a load and with no load.(it was still putting out power with no issues). Pretty sure it is a carburetor adjustment, but I did not have time to look at it since they were pulling it out of the water at that time.. Replacing two of the courtesy lights outside. I ordered them but have not installed yet.
This has been a great boat. I have seen them for years and it has exceeded my expectations. 32 MPH top out speed (GPS) with half fuel, regular gear and two people and will cruise at 18 MPH with a full load at 3100 RPM. It has the larger 22 4-bladed props which get it out of the water and allow it a smooth cruise. It handles the water well and there is plenty of room in the cabin or decks for family and friends.
This boat had Mobil 1 full synthetic oil in it from the previous owner and that is all that I have run in it. I have treated it as if I was going to keep it forever (which I was planning to), but now we just need a bigger boat.
