This is a well cared for fresh water yacht. All systems are functioning perfectly. This generation of Carver Yachts is one of the best ever!1994 Carver motor yacht, semi-veeplaning hull, offshore, double cabin, flybridge, dual helm cruiser. It is a condo on the water. Built by hand, and made tough, just before computers started to design for cheaper production costs. The interiors are built to last with teak wood throughout, very little plastics, chromed rails, stainless steel parts, even the toilets are porcelain. This is a 16,000 lb semi-vee planing hull offshore cruiser that is stable and strong. The twin 350hp Crusader 454xl motors were created just prior to engine management computers, and OBD II readers. These have no finicky fuel management, or engine management computers, the carbs are Holley 4BBL made great through decades of engineering. They use easy to find GM parts! Keep the fluids fresh and tune them once a season and they will not let you down. These boats are very easy to work on by owners, no waiting for weeks for a mechanic. Or months for parts to arrive from overseas. No need to spend days diagnosing problems.I love those beautiful multi-million dollar yachts, and they are amazing when they work. But if anything goes down on them it's a nightmare. I docked next to a guy last year with a 12month old 60 footer, the yacht was absolutely beautiful. But he was stuck at dock waiting 6 weeks for a factory tech to come diagnose the computer issues. So if you want to use your boat take this into consideration. My boat spent most of its life in the clear fresh waters of Lake Michigan until I purchased it in the fall of 2020. The seller had bought it from a local owner and had it prepped for a trip around The Great Loop. Medical issues forced his trip to be cancelled. So when I bought it it was fully set-up for the trip but had been sitting for a year until the trip was cancelled. During that year it was used sparingly, taking the grandkids swimming. It had fewer than 500 hours on it when I picked it up. I spent a few weeks working out some bugs acquired from lack of use, I rebuilt the carbs on all motors including the generator and dinghy motor, cleaning everything up, refreshing all the systems, and setting it up for the trip. I then used it to travel through the Great Lakes, across the Erie Canal, and down the Hudson River into New York where it was stored through the 2020 winter on dry land. Last summer, I had it pulled out of storage, unwrapped, had the anti fouling (bottom) paint redone, new clear plastic installed in all of the canvas panels, both engines fully serviced, then prepared for summer use on the Hudson River. I decided it was too big of a boat to keep on a river. So this past fall I decided to downsize to a smaller boat. Instead of winterizing it and back up on dry land again, I decided to bring it down to Florida to sell.I made the 4 week trip down the ICW in November without any issues. That was the boat's first exposure to sea water.I travelled across Lake Okeechobee and docked it where it currently sits in Clearwater Florida. I am going to use it for 2 weeks this March and then it is going to new owners. I have the survey from the original purchase 18 months ago let me know if you would like to see it.After I purchased it, I added a new sleeper sofa with under seat storage, replaced all the clear plastic (isinglass) in thecanvas top, renovated the front bedroom, added new sunroof hatch in front bedroom, and more. I rebuilt both Holley 4 barrel carbs, replaced the fuel pump on the starboard engine, tuned up both motors, changed all hydraulic fluids and oils. The boat shows and runs very well. It is clearly very reliable as I used it to make two long journeys of 4 weeks or more. It has twin Crusader 7.4L MPI inboards and cruises at 18 mph with top speed of 26-29 mph.Interior:- newly renovated front vee berth to sleep 2 with teak closet, clothing drawers and tons of storage- full aft stateroom with ensuite head and standup shower, queen bed, night stand of drawers, reading lamp, two closets, smart tv, zoned climate system- 2nd guest bath with hand shower- sleeps 8: 2 in front berth, 2 in the drop down dinette, 2 in the new sofa bed, 2 in the stateroom- spacious salon- smart tv that raises up from a custom cabinet- large glass windows for sun filled days and tons of fresh air- dinette for 4 guests with adjustable table (table drops down to convert into a bed for 2- book matched teak cabinets and wall trim- clean white headlinerwith great headroom- 3 zone sound system with multiple subs, bluetooth and Sirius radio- fully stocked kitchen with full size fridge, 3 burner electric stove, hot water sink, nice sized oven, built in coffee maker and microwave- color changing led perimeter mood lighting- 2 zone climate control for heat and ac- teak coat closet- teak liquor cabinet, storage- sliding, tinted locking entrance door with alarm- new removable, adjustable height, helm seat- second helm for yachting in bad weather- battery control- fuse panelUpper helm:- adjustable highly padded captains chair- adjacent matching bench seat next to captains chair- bench seat in front of captains console- under bench storage- additional forward storage- fully removable canvas enclosure with new isinglassRear deck:- ice maker- bar sink- multiple storage lockers- hammok- cooler with bench seating- bean bag floating chairs- rear swim platform with chrome ladder- swim ladder- full canvas- security motion light- rear led work lights- webber 1200btu gas grill with pony tank and hose- grappling hook- fishing netElectronics and navigation:- Garmin 942xs display connected via NMEA2000- fuel monitor for fuel consumption integrated into the Garmin- sonar- radar- gps- Cetrek autopilot- self generated wifi to connect Garmin to Ipad as second monitor for the lower helm- 2 new deep cycle marine batteries installed in December 2021- battery tender, manager- twin 30 amp 120 volt shore power with multiple cables included- new fusion marine stereo with Garmin integration, bluetooth, Sirius, multiple speakers in 3 zones with multiple subs- 2 VHF radios, upper helm has integrated fog horn and hailer- fuel vapor monitor warning- stall warning- 2 magnetic analog compassesElectrical systems:- onboard 12 volt power while underway- Kohler 6.5 120 volt generator can be used while underway or at dock (has its own starter battery)- multi port shore power with 3 connection options- battery management module- full power switching panel for both power systemsPlumbing:- 2 power flush heads into 2 black water holding tanks 18 gallons each- starboard pumpout for both tanks- 8 gallon hot water heater- 80 gallon fresh water tank, recently sanitized- fiber fresh water filter- swim deck hot water showerPropulsion: engines fire up perfectly and run cool- twin gasoline 7.4L (454xl) Crusader MPI motors producing 350 hp each- twin 110 gallon fuel tanks (220 total)- cruising range of 150 miles- automatic oil change system- Borg Warner Velvet drive transmissions- 2 new bilge blowers- 2 new brass propellers- automatic fire suppression systemMisc:- coast guard registered vessel- tons of storage everywhere- easy access to motors and systems- EPIRB distress signal location finder- various signal flares, and whistles- various fire extinguishers- first aid kit- flashlights- numerous floatation devices for all sizes- new anchor and anchor line- new bumper lines- new tie down lines- 6 bumpersTender: sold separately- hard bottom rubber sided Achilles 10 foot dinghy- 9.9 hp Mercury outboard- survival kit- dinghy waever davit mounting system for tender to be mounted on the swim platformScuba:sold separately- two nitrox scuba tanks- two dive vests- two masks, snorkel and fins- two dive computers- various weightsSpare props: sold separately- 2 spare props availableI can help arrange transport of the boat by water to anyone within a 500 nautical mile range (fee to be determined). The price listed is the full sale price.
