This is truly a one-of-a-kind attention getter, designed by the legendary Art Carlson, and is the only jet-pump configuration of the CPS-20 Flying Wedge ever built. The wedge was produced in the mid 80s as an outboard powered Mod-VP style performance boat by Starcraft, and then later by Victory Performance; but, this hand laminated boat was built by Art Carlson at his facility in California. It is one of the only two known inboard powered versions ever built. With the recent passing of Art, this boat represents a piece of high performance marine history.
Completely refurbished to the bare hull, this boat includes new upholstery, interior carpet, wiring harness/panel, and a custom paint job. The rigging is first class, and the boat performs well. With a single owner, this boat has been set-up as a play boat for skiing and pulling water toys, spending most of its life on Lake Havasu. Ultimate top end performance can be attained by shoe and ride plate adjustment/swaps, but either way the acceleration is exceptional.
If you are looking for a "under the radar" boat that will not get attention, this is not the boat for you. But, if you're looking for a boat that gets as much attention on the water, at the dock or the trailer, this is your boat! Oh, and it is a lot of fun to drive!
