This boat is a Carlson original, before its affiliation with Glastron. Although Glastron-Carlson merged in 1969, this Carlson does not have the Glastron logo. It has been stored indoors all of its life, and is in Mint condition. The only modification done was to the transom, which was just repainted. It is powered by a rebuilt 1977 Mercury 1500XS. I live in Arizona and have the exact same boat, only mine has the original 95 hp merc from "1966".
I just wanted to inform you that your boat is a 1966, not a 1969. I'm absolutely sure of this, without a doubt!
The '69 had a windshield and other subtle differences. Just wanted you to know. Awesome boat. Mine's been completely rebuilt, but still not as nice as yours. Thanks.

Nice boat. I have owned 2 of them, The one you have for sale has had extensive work done on the transom, which has been typically a weak spot due to water incursion. I'm not saying this one had it. But, they did add a transom lift to fit a standard shaft engine. Structurally adds extra load the transom was not originally designed for. I still have the best one of the two I had. It is a project boat. It is a solid boat, with a SS 6cyl Merc, original Walstrong trailer , and is for sale. Email (***) if interested. Thx, Don
