1963 Burger Yacht - 63' motor yacht. As you can see in the photos this boat is a beauty with a lot of character. I am selling because I moved to Florida and only go back to Maryland a couple months a year to enjoy boating. Therefore, it is time for someone else to enjoy her. Here are all the basics and then some: She is Aluminum hull w twin 871 Detroits, 1150 gallon(3)fuel tanks capacity and 300 gallon fresh water. The pilot house is gorgeous mahogany and teak floors. This is also true for aft deck seating area. There are 3 staterooms and 3 bathrooms all with head and showers. Galley has seating for 4 and even the original steel grate commercial refrigerator/freezer is working great. Engine room is clean and well marked with labels for pumps/hoses/electrical. From what I understand, she went through a complete renovation in late 1998/99. 2 Generators power her when moving(Onan appox 2600 hours, Lister 1800 hours). Starboard engine had to be rebuilt in 2014 due to catastrophic occurrence. Johnson and Towers did the overhaul and engine has about 150 hours since. The port engine was rebuilt in 1999 and has approx. 2800 hours. Both engines run great and start first crank of turn of key. She cruises at 8.5 knots at 1400 RPM and 10 knots at 1600. Top end RPM is around 2400 and 15knots on clean bottom. Both engines sip a total of 10 gallons an hour(5 gal each) when cruising at 8.5 knots. Bottom paint was done fall of 2016 and boat has been kept under shed. Furuno radar/depth-plotter(2014)/ and also has autopilot. All the gauges work and VHF stereo speakers. Surround sound in main cabin and aft deck along with TV and DVD player. New Deca Batteries June of 2017. This boat turns heads wherever we go. If you are looking for a great reliable boat of this size, this is it. Shown by appointment only. Boat is located on the Chesapeake Bay in Rock Hall, Maryland.
