I love Whalers and we have had plenty of fun with this one but I have two others and it's time to let this one go! This classic Whaler is in excellent ORIGINAL condition, especially for a boat of this age. It is stored indoors most of the year except for a few weeks at a time in the summer when it is in between use but always covered and the boat has always been stored indoors in the winter. The desert tan fiberglass (my preferred color) is excellent inside and out with only a couple of minor chips in the gel coat on the bottom edges. I have the original match gel coat to repair these minor spots which can be seen in the photos which I will include with the boat. I have not buffed or waxed it yet this year so the photos represent the boat exactly as it came out of storage just this weekend and it will look even nicer when fully detailed and cleaned up. I had the carburetor rebuilt last year and it starts and runs perfectly, the engine is oil injected so you do not have to mix the oil with the gas. The 40 hp has plenty of power to lift a skier or pull a tube yet the boat is small enough to easily tow and store in a standard garage stall. The engine is electric start and has updated cable steering for trouble free and precise operation and it runs and steers excellent. The engine hatch cover was professionally repainted a couple of years ago and new decals were installed and it looks looks very nice. The mahogany console and seats are in excellent condition, the front mahogany hatch cover was replaced with a used one that is darker in color when the original wood cover was lost. Included with the boat is a rubber coated anchor and anchor rope, fire extinguisher, rubber fender, custom blue canvas storage cover, and the trailer shown in the photo. You can literally tow it away and use it the same day.Thank you for looking, if you are interested in a classic whaler or low maintenance beginner boat, you cannot go wrong with this boat, it will only hold or increase in value and you can't say that about most boats!
