Boston Whaler Montauk

For sale is myvery clean Boston Whaler Montauk 17' center console. This boat has always performed well and provided much fun for the family. The kids are older now and it gets little to no use and this year we did not use it at all. Prior to me it was owned as a local fire rescue boat so it has always been stored indoors, been well maintained, and has low use. There are a few extra mounting holes in the center console from radio and antenna equipment that has been removed. Other than that, the fiberglass is in excellent condition inside and out with very few scratches and only a few minor gel coat chips. All of the teak wood was completely stripped/refreshed, and re-teak oiled so it is in excellent condition. Especially notable is the custom rigid aluminum bimini frame which is rarely seen on a 17' whaler. This is a great feature that provides some shade without the hassle of the set up and storage ofthe folding style bimini top. I am in the process of having a new red bimini canvas made at an upholstry shop and the new canvas bimini will come with the sale of the boat. This boat has been trailered and used in fresh water since new and starts and runs great, it is an excellent boat and likely one of the nicest 15 year old 17' Whalers you will find at this price with these features. The trailer tows perfectly and is in excellent working condition.
