Boston Whaler Eastport - Freshly Restored With Brand New No Hours Yamaha 70

This is a freshly restored 1968 Boston Whaler Eastport. It has been fully redone with the following:- Yamaha 70hp Outboard - brand new with dealer warranty- All new Yamaha wiring and controls- New battery and battery box- All new wiring, including white corrugated tubing covering wires / cables- Brand new gas tanks- New LED bow and stern lights and stern bracket with all new wiring and switches (Specialty Marine sourced)- Interior Awlgrip paint and exterior wet sanded and bottom painted- Brand new wood center console, forward hatch, pilot seat and rear seat (Specialty Marine sourced)- New cushions for all seats (Specialty Marine sourced)- Bilge pump with automatic switch- New transom tag- New bow Norman pin (Specialty Marine sourced)- New transom eyes (Specialty Marine sourced)- New white rub rail with polished stainless end caps (three-piece Specialty Marine sourced)- New stainless side railings (Specialty Marine sourced)- Original period-correct steering wheel powder coated white- New steering cable and No Feedback (NFB-II) gear box- New splash well and hull brass drain tubes installed- New William J. Its the fifth Boston Whaler from this era that Ive restored over the past few years. While this boat isnt absolutely perfect, it is beautiful and the hull is solid and dry. For those who have not ridden in this era Whaler 16, it is a ton of fun. The hull is extremely light and planes easily. I find that the Yamaha 70 is the best outboard as it combines good power and speed (with 15 pitch prop thats on the motor) with light weight.
