Boston Whaler

This auction is for a 2000 model Boston Whaler Dauntless 160 with a 90HP Honda 4 stroke and an aluminum trailer. I negotiated to receive this boat as payment for a job I bid on. I worked the job and now own the boat. I had intentions of giving the boat a little tlc that it needs, playing in it this spring then selling in summer. My plans have changed to go cruising in our sailboat instead so I am offering it up for sale. I have been around boats all my life and believe this to be a good one with potential to be great with a little effort.The pictures tell most of the story. There are some nice features on this boat: Ray marine A60 chart plotter, Standard horizon VHF, built in rod holders, built in live well, nice Bimini top with cover, great seating arrangement and overall large size for a 16' boat. There is a trolling motor and mount that are in unknown condition and are not installed(ok cosmetic shape)The Honda runs good, it seamed a little clunky going into reverse but after reading online it sounds normal for this motor and I read to shift it quickly which helps. The steering was a bit stiff, I cleaned and greased the steer tube and it's good. The trailer is in good condition and has one new tire and tail lights.Here are the things I was planning to make it really nice that you may want to consider doing yourself if you purchase the boat: Replace one tire and wheel on the trailer and use the current one as a spare. The one on there is very usable. The whole boat could use a buff and polish. New stereo(not one on the boat now) New red and grey pin stripes on the hull, Tinted windshield(minor cracks in the clear one but still decent) Replace the main bench seat cushions(current ones usable)***I am selling as is*** Please ask any questions you have before bidding.
