Up for sale is my 1980 Boston Whaler 13ft with a 2011 Tohatsu 50 horsepower TLDI direct inject outboard. Very low hours! This has the original factory pads and recently had a new OEM bimini installed which has been barely used.I am thethirdowner of the boat since coming out of the factory. I bought the boat in late 2010 from a maritime lawyer in Rumson NJ and repowered the boat in 2011 with a 2-stroke 50 horsepower motor. the boat is extremely fast with 50 horsepower pushing a 300lb +gear hull. Top speed is 37 mph fully trimmed out, which is quite the ride in a little 13 foot boat. Meanwhile, you burn a fraction of the gas of other boats doing the same speed due to the weight and direct gas and direct oil injection. The boat only saw fresh water use in the Adirondacks and Lake Hopatcong in NJ after the engine was installed. The boat has been run a few times since coming to Tennessee, but generally hasn't been used due to my schedule. There is a plate installed for a Minn Kota trolling motor. the motor is not included in the price, but it is negotiable if you want it added.The boat runs very well and will run it for the seller to verify working condition. The motor has very low hours since purchase.
