Boston Whaler

1981 Boston Whaler 25 Outrage. I repowered the boat in 2014 with twin 125 Optimax. This included new rigging, controls, and steering at the same time as the repower. The boat was previously owned for many years by a Whaler service manager in South Carolina. He added many additional items to the boat. These include the radar arch, custom helm, outriggers, downriggers, and much more. The boat is in very good condition. I had the aluminum trailer custom built for the boat in 2009. The engines have approximately 60 hours a piece. The boat is extremely fuel efficient with two 70 gallon tanks. The previous owner had opened the floor, pressure tested the tanks and repaired the floors as needed.This is an extremely seaworthy boat. I have had it out 40 miles plus in the Gulf of Mexico on several occasions. I have several classic Boston Whalers and need to downsize. The boat is not perfect, but considering it is 38 years old now, it is an excellent value and an extremely safe and durable hull. I'd have no problem running to the Bahamas in the boat or fishing 80 miles out in the Gulf for tuna during the right conditions. WOT is around 43 mph.The boat should have fresh electronics and I have factored that into the asking price. The boat is available for inspection and sea trial for serious buyers only.
