This is an all original 13 foot, 1964 Boston Whaler. It has the original 35HP mercury outboard that the boat was sold with; the motor is a 1965. I bought this boat from its original owner up in Michigan several years ago, who took very good care of the boat. It has been stored inside for most of its life, and really looks great for its age. I was told the boat was used for fishing in inland lakes and rivers. It has a Garmin GPS and fish/depth finder installed, and all lights work. The motor starts readily, runs really strong, and has always been stored with fogging oil applied. The last time I had this boat in the water was the fall of 2016. At this time I noticed that the motor was loading up a little, so the carburetor will need to be serviced. The boat had been stored indoors since its use in 2016, and it fired right up for me when removed from storage. In 2010, quite a bit of repair work was done to the motor: starter rebuilt, coils and points serviced, choke solenoid repaired, impeller replaced, oils replaced. Since this time, it has only been run a handful of hours in a freshwater lake in Northern Indiana. Since the impeller has been installed for nearly 10 years, I would advise having it replaced, and having everything looked over before you give the boat any serious use.The boat comes with the original fuel tank that matches the outboard, and the inside is clean and ready for service. The fuel hoses are in good shape. The wiring and cables are all in good shape as well. The trailer is original to the boat, and is in really good shape for its age. It has bearing buddies installed. The tires hold air fine, but are quite old. They worked fine on the short distances that I towed the boat, but I would probably think about replacing if you plan to tow a great distance. The boat also comes with a tan cover that was made for the boat. It is roughly 6 years old, is in good shape, and fits well, though there are some dark spots from mold that have stained it.As you can see from the pictures, the previous owner did repair the front winch cleat, and a spot on the front of the hull; This boat was moored in the water for several weeks in 2016, and no water intrusion was noticed. You can see from the photos that there are areas of use and places where the fiberglass was dinged from normal use. The boat has not been abused in any way, and is in really great shape for its age; some light repair and detailing would really make this little guy look like new again.I have had a lot of fun with this boat. It is a dream on the water, and is really smooth on plane as all of these Whalers are. It is hard to let this one go, but I simply do not have the time to enjoy it anymore.Due to its age the boat does not have a title, but will come with a bill of sale.Boat is sold AS-IS.
