The boat has some of the normal wear indications of a 44 year old boat, with that in mind I would still describe it as in excellent condition. We purchased the boat locally about 6 years ago. We are the third owners.
Before we put the boat in thewater we buffed/polished the boat, had the ribbon mahogany refinished, installed aTodd Console, purchaseda new 50HP eTec from, and installed, by a local marina. I haven't had the times checked electronically but would guess there are less than 100 hours on the motor. It runs perfectly and the tilt/trim also operates according to specs. Additionally at thattime heinstalled a new "no-feedback" steering system. Since owning it we have installed a new Lowrance GPS/DepthFinder, replaced the rubrail mounting and rubrail, installed a new stainless steel prop and purchased a new trailer. All of this is included with the boat. The console is mounted by attachment to the wooden seat/console and is not attached to the fiberglass structure of the boat. If you wanted to put it back to original just remove the console and replace the mahogany seat/console mount with new. Probably a $150 or lessdeal.
Since we've owned the boat it has been kept on a lift, in a covered dock with a custom cover in place. The cover is pictured installed on the Whaler and is included in the sale.
We installed the seats in thepictures for comforts sake, again if you want to go back to the original, just remove the seats and install the original style cushions. All of the cushions were custom made locally after we purchased the boat and are included.
We installed the battery anda 15 gallon Moeller fuel tank under the middle seat to move the CG forward and improve the ride.
We are reluctantly selling this Whaler because we have acquired another (18 Dauntless) for use in Florida and on the river.
After reviewing the pictures I noticed the trailer wheels were dirty and cleaned them up - thats the reason for the additional pictures.
