1963 Boston Whaler Classic 13 Sport. Own a piece of history--Whaler #9499---Rare Center Console Layout--20hp Johnson with remote steer. Comes with trailer. Boat is in good condition. I bought the motor from my mechanic, and I keep it serviced regularly. I just don't get it out like I used to, but I crank it every Sunday. And my wife says she has to have her parking spot back in the garage.I think this boat is awesome as is. It is a 58-year-old unsinkable legend, and I get compliments on how it looks every time I'm at the boat ramp. I can cruise, fish, and pull the kids on tubes or skis all day for less than $10. It is the unsinkable legend. If you want to do a high end restoration to original condition with that glassy gel coat finish, this boat is structurally sound and I think it would a good candidate for that level of restoration. But it is not already in that condition. It is a great looking utility boat, for having cheap safe fun at the lake. You can use it for 10 years and when you sell it, you will probably get more than you paid for it, or leave it to your grandkids. It has lasted 58 years and will probably go for another 58.This is an auction, and if you bid you are agreeing to purchase the boat. $500 deposit due via Paypal immediately after the auction, and the balance due in cash. The deposit is only refundable if the motor doesn't run or the boat is not seaworthy at the time of pickup. And I will meet you at the lake to show you that it is.
